AP Minister Nara Lokesh inaugurated 7 IT companies

Vijayawada, May 04: The Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT & Panchayat Raj Nara Lokesh has inaugurated 7 IT & ITE companies in Medha IT tower at Gannavaram Airport near Vijayawada in Krishna district here on Wednesday.

Lokesh said that Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh will become as Information Technology hub soon.

He assured that six lakh jobs including one lakh in IT sector and five lakh in the manufacturing sector will be generated within a couple of years.

Addressing a meeting after the inauguration, Lokesh claimed that within one month after assuming office he was able to provide 7,000 jobs including 1,650 in newly inaugurated companies and 5,000 in HCL.



The seven IT companies which were inaugurated at Medha towers include Antolin, IES (Spanish and German) Rotomaker, Chandu soft, Melsova, EP soft and Yamaha IT solutions (US based companies).

Lokesh informed that these companies were dealing in high-end automotive interiors designing, IT consultancy, digital educational service, IT/ITES services.

He recalled that the Kia motors entered into MoU with the State government to set up it's plant in Anantapur district.

Lokesh informed that an ideal IT eco-system would be developed in the State.
