Swatch Autos in Municipalities

Hyderabad May 04: Greater Hyderabad is moving fastly to make the success of 'SWATCH HYDERABAD - SWATCH TELANGANA'. Telangana government launched a program to empower the drivers.

Coming to matter, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) had already introduced the scheme of "DRIVER CUM AUTO" (DCO) and now it is going to implement in Municipalities also.

With the help of these autos, the Sanitation works can be done quickly.Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration(CDMA) is decided to implement these process in all corporation areas, Municipality area, and in Urban Panchythies also.

They also said that process should be done through MEPMA (Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal areas). They formed a committee, which consists of seven members to look after the process of Tenders invitation, Bid Documents and Technical aspects. DMA Dr. T.K.Sridevi will be the Chairman of this committee.

People's section E.N.C Dhan Singh, GHMC Additional Commissioner Ravi Kiran, GHMC Chief Transport Officer, RTA Joint Commissioner, MEPMA AMD Vandhan Kumar, TUFIDC Vishwanadh Raju is the Committee members.
