The girl hailed from Mainpuri district's Kurawali area while the boy was from Farakkabad.

Here the news that The girl asked the boy to write 'Saampradaayik' (Communal) and 'Drishtikona' (Viewpoint) in Hindi. As the boy was unable to correctly spell the words, the girl rejected the proposal.

An interesting aspect that the girl had not studied beyond Class 5, while the boy had passed his secondary exam.
