PM Narendra Modi tweeted about K.Viswanath

Hyderabad May 04: On Tuesday evening President Pranab Mukherjee has conferred popular Telugu director Kasinathuni Viswanath with Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest movie award in the country. The 87-year-old director was receiving this award, the whole of attendance gave him a standing ovation.

All the Telugu audience know much about K Viswanath, his movies, and achievements, but shockingly what is Prime Minister Narendra Modi also acknowledged his achievements.

Modi tweeted that "I congratulate all those who were conferred with the National Film Awards. We are proud of their creativity & contribution to cinema. Shri K Vishwanath has distinguished himself as an outstanding filmmaker. I congratulate him on being conferred the Dada Saheb Phalke award".
