Northern IAS appointed as EO for TTD

Tirupati, May 02: The Northern IAS officer Anil Kumar Singhal has been appointed to the post of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Executive Officer (EO), who was the resident commissioner of AP Bhavan, at New Delhi. He was 1993 batch IAS officer.The government has issued the orders here on Monday.

For the First time in the history of TTD, a northern person has been appointed as EO. The government passed the Go addressing that some other IAS officers also being transferred.

On behalf of Singhal appointment, Senior IAS officers are opposing the proposal, but top politicians are pressuring the government to make the appointment.



According to the IAS, sources said,Due to the pressure created by Chief Officer, and Union minister of Delhi this decision has been made by the Chief Minister.

If Mr.Singhal is appointed as EO, the current EO, D.Sambasiva Rao, will be appointed as Principal Secretary in the revenue department.

Meanwhile, Praveen Prakash from central services has appointed as AP Bhavan Resident Commissioner of Delhi.
