IPL: Mumbai won by 5 wickets against the RCB

Bangalore May 02: Stylish Player Rohit Sharma's unbeaten 56 clinched Mumbai Indians to a comprehensive victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore in an outstanding encounter of the Indian Premier League here on Monday.

While coming to matter, Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and elected to bat first against the Mumbai Indians and scored a moderate score 161/8 in 20 overs.

Rohit Sharma, who slammed six boundaries and one six in his 37-ball knock, and Jos Buttler (33) were the key contributors to Mumbai's cause.



With seven runs needed in the final over, Hardik Pandya and Sharma took singles off the first four balls and then the skipper slammed a boundary to give the hosts a comprehensive victory.

From this perspective, Mumbai now sits atop the IPL standings with eight wins and two losses.
