RCB scores 162/8 against Mumbai

Mumbai May 01: RCB batsmen's Kedar Jadhav and Pawan Negi helped Royal Challengers Bangalore to score 162/8 against Mumbai Indians in an Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Wankhede Stadium here on Monday.

Negi scored 35 from 23 balls and Jadhav 28 from 22 raised a brilliant 54-run stand for the sixth wicket.Mr.360 AB de Villiers was the other major contributor with a 27-ball 43 for the Bangalore



Mitchell McClenaghan (3/34) returned with a three-wicket haul and Krunal Pandya (2/34) took two wickets, while Karn Sharma (1/23) and Jasprit Bumrah (1/33) accounted for one wicket each after RCB skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat.

RCB have so far won just two matches and lost seven in the 10 games that they have played to be placed at the seventh spot in the points table.
