A Non-Vegetarian plant

VIjaywada April 30: Do u know that a Non-Vegetarian plant exist? yes, Scientists are growing non-vegetarian plants which live on insects.

A Non-Vegetarian Plant which Kills Insects is Being developed at botany department of Andhra Loyola College located in Vijayawada.

The scientists brought seeds from Tejpur forest located in Assam. The scientists have grown this plants for last 8 months.

The description of plants is as follows, The leaves are flower vase shaped and a there is a small leaf on the top of it in the form of open lid type.

There are tentacles on the inner side of the leaves.
when the insects go inside the leaf which in the lid shape closes and insect dies.

After insects die plants use the nitrogen generated from the body of insects.

The plants use nitrogen for their growth.
