EC has announced the schedule for revision of electoral rolls

Hyderabad April 30: Officials to take necessary steps for enrolling the eligible candidates who attained the age of 18 years in the voter's list said by the Ranga Reddy district Collector M. Raghunandan Rao here on Saturday.

While going to matter, Collector said the Election Commission has announced the schedule for revision of electoral rolls in Ibrahimpatnam, Chevella, Kalvakurthy and Shadnagar assembly constituencies by considering January 1, 2017 as the qualifying date.

Addressing in a meeting convened with representatives from the political parties, revenue divisional officers and Tahsildars here, he said deletion of names of those who expired and those whose address was changed and enrolling the names of those who attained 18 years would be carried out in the four assembly constituencies.



He advised representatives from political parties to take part in the revision of electoral roll and assist authorities in preparing voters list without any errors.
