IIT ranker Mohan Abhyas belongs to which institute?

Hyderabad, April 29: As we know that, The results for IIT JEE Main 2017 was announced on Thursday.

A son of a samosa seller is in news for clearing the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2017 and for securing his place among 100 rankers.

In-depth into the matter, Vabirisetti Mohan Abhyas, a 16-year-old engineering aspirant from Hyderabad secured All India Rank 6 in the prestigious entrance examination conducted for various engineering colleges, including the premier Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).

Vabirisetti Mohan is among 30 students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana who secured their positions among top 100 rankers in the JEE Main 2017.

Vabirisetti Mohan Abhyas had scored 345 out of 360 marks and attributed his success to his parents, his teachers and hard work.



His father is a 'samosa' (snacks) vendor who holds a local stall in Hyderabad.

According to a report, Vabirisetti Mohan Abhyas took coaching from a private institute located on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

A controversy has been running between the Aakash institutions and Sri Chaitanya inistitutions, The both were alleging each other that, Mohan abhyas got top rank due to those institutions only, they added.

In general, these kind of institutions have been focused on merit students only and neglect the remaining students, who were studying in their institutions.
