Model-Anchor was died in car accident

Kolkata April 29: Popular Bengali television actor Bikram Chatterjee's car met with an accident on wee hours of Saturday. During the accident, actor-anchor Sonika Chauhan, who hosts a show on NDTV Prime, was present in the car. Sonika died on the spot.

Reportedly, Actor Bikram himself was driving a white Toyota (WB12C9755) car when he lost control at Rashbehari avenue. The vehicle crashed into the divider on the road and turned topsy-turvy.

Both were rushed to a private hospital soon after the locals recovered them from the accident spot. Anchor Sonika was declared dead on the spot while a severely injured Actor Bikram is currently in ICU.

As per the report, Bikram was driving at a high speed and the airbags of the car did not work properly when the car met with the accident. The police is currently checking the CCTV footage of the area to find more clues.
