Harish Rao says it was a "Political conspiracy"

Khammam April 29: As we knew that, The chilly farmers in Khammam district of Telangana vented their anger over poor remunerative prices by attacking the market committee office here on April 28, Friday.

The Incident happened just 12 hours after Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao vowed to "see happiness in the eyes of the farmers" by extending them all support in cultivating and marketing.

From this perspective Telangana Minister Harish Rao alleged on the incident, he said that " the incident Purely involved by the politics and said it was a Political conspiracy" he alleged.

Addressing the media persons here at Khammam on Friday, he said that on 27 April Warangal meeting was completed with a big bang success, the success was not digested by the opposition parties, from this cause they are doing the Political conspiracy on chilly farmers.

We knew that They pelted stones at the office, ransacked the furniture and damaged the building after they had set on fire huge quantities of chilies, protesting against the lack of government control over the traders’ syndicate/racket.

However, Upset, farmers burnt chilies before proceeding towards the agriculture market committee office. They damaged the weighing machines of traders. With the officials not coming out, then they pelted stones at the office.

Meanwhile, Even before the police could arrive at the spot, farmers barged into the office and ransacked the furniture. Farmers insisted that the whole stock arrived in the market should be lifted by the traders.

The Chilly farmers have been agitating in Karimnagar, Khammam and Warangal markets for the last 10 days
