Supreme Court warned Sahara Chief Subrata Roy

New Delhi, April 28: The Supreme Court on Thursday extended the parole to Subrata Roy up to June 19, who was the owner of Sahara group.

The Supreme Court had warned that if he should pay an amount of Rs 1500 crore before June 15.

The court also said that in the case of failure of deposit of money before the specified date he would be sent to Tihar jail after his parole is completed.

The Sahara group of industries chairman submitted an affidavit that he will deposit of total of Rs 2000 crore by July 15 and in the case of cheque bounce he will be liable to go to jail.



The supreme court also said advised that rules of an auction of Aamby Valley property to be completed before June 19.

The court appointed Liquidator Vinod Sharma has submitted a report that indicates that the net value of Aamby Valley a property of Sahara group to be RS 37392 Crore.
