Good news for EPF members

Delhi APRIL 28: A good news for Employment Provident Fund (EPF) members.

We all know that EPF is a form of social security for many people who work in industrial and other sectors of India.

After Modi Government has come into power at center the EPF scheme is made more people friendly.One such move was announced yesterday.

Now EPF customers can withdraw money from the Fund during medical illness and Health Treatment by just submitting a Self-attested Document and the Doctor Certificate is no longer required.

One more good news that if any employee stays in a hospital for at least 1 month in the hospital they can draw amount similar to their 6 months salary but made it applicable only to major diseases such as TB, cancer, Paralysis, Heart Problem and any other major surgery.

Another major relief is the that EPF withdrawal forms have been simplified to a single page.

The central government amended rules of EPF and issued a circular in this regard.

The government also made EPF rules friendly for Physically Handicapped people.Now physically challenged people can withdraw money in advance for buying their equipment and they don't need doctor certificate.
