Vijayawada April 27: The Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Minister Nara Lokesh has addressed about the Advance polls in the state at Secretariat here on Wednesday.

Nara Lokesh said that his father and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has never commented on early elections to the State Assembly.

He clarified that the Chief Minister has asked the ministers to be prepared for early elections whenever they are held.

"No state will accept early elections in advance of one year. They will be considered only if the elections are held six months in advance," Lokesh said.

While maintaining that there are no elections to any State Assembly during 2018, he added that he is ready to take the responsibility for municipal elections.

He told that "One nation-one election" system is not possible in India. Stating that Chandrababu Naidu has put in hard work during the last three years for the development of the state, he exuded confidence that no other party than TDP will win any elections in the future.
