IPL : KKR beat Supergiant

Pune April 27: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat the Pune Supergiant here in the season of the Indian Premier League at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

While going to matter, KKR won the toss and elected to bowl first, PUNE managed to score post 182/5.

Pune captain Steve Smith led from the front with an unbeaten half-century

Later Skipper Gautam Gambhir and in-form Robin Uthappa's crackling half centuries to sail to a facile seven-wicket win over Rising Pune Supergiant in an IPL game and go on top of points table here on Wednesday.

Uthappa scored 87 and stole the show with some elegant hitting as he brought up his third IPL 50 in this season of IPL.
