Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate UDAN scheme

Simla April 26: Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate UDAN scheme on Thursday by flagging of flights from Shimla-Delhi, Kadapa–Hyderabad, and the Nanded-Hyderabad.

Modi will launch the scheme from Shimla.This Information was posted by a tweet from PMO.

while going to matter, UDAN ('Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik') is a policy developed by Modi government to "promote Regional Connectivity to tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and also to make air travel cheap to citizens in regionally important areas".

The UDAN Scheme in line with updated National Civil Aviation Policy (NCAP) which was unveiled on 15 June 2016.



Under this policy "Airfare for a 1-hour journey will be fixed at Rs 2,500," the PMO said.

At last boost for Hyderabad and Andhra tourism as new flights operate from Hyderabad to Kadapa and Nanded in both Andhra and Telangana.
