A SweetShop Owner held,for assaulting a Woman

Hyderabad, April 26: The Hayath Nagar Police have arrested a man here on Tuesday, for allegedly sexually assaulted a woman, who was working in his shop.

While coming to details, A woman(22) has filed a complaint against a sweet shop owner, by alleging that she was raped and impregnated.

According to Hayathnagar Inspector J Narender Goud, the suspect was identified as Mahender, a resident of Thorrur. He runs a sweet shop business called Om Sai Usha Sweet Shop which is located in the same area.

The victim, in the complaint given, said while she was working at the sweet shop, Mahender sexually assaulted on the pretext of marrying her.

"Based on the complaint given, a case under section 376 and 109 of IPC was registered and the victim was sent for medical examination," he said, adding that based on the facts further action would be initiated.
