Indian students mostly prefer these 3

Hyderabad, April 25: Many of the students who aspire to pursue their post graduation in abroad give preference to America.

A recent trend shows that there is an increase in a number of Indian students who join PG in universities in America.

Data indicates that more than 1/3 students who study in America opt for universities located only in 3 states. These 3 states include California, Texas, and NewYork.

The data also shows that for the first time the total number of students in American universities crossed 2 lakh. Out of the 2 lakh students, 76827 opted for universities present in texas California and NewYork.

This data was confirmed by American Citizenship and Immigration Services.Total the number of foreign students in the USA is 12.30 lakhs. China ranks first in no of foreign students to the USA with a total of 378996.India is in the second position with a total of 206582 students.

Reasons for preference of students for these 3 states include:

* Out of total 8967 recognized institutions in America 1156 and 636 institutions are present in California and NewYork respectively.

* Employment opportunities are huge in states like California texas and NewYork.

* Silicon valley world's largest IT hub located in California attracts a number of students.

* Tuition fees in California and texas are low as between 15to 20 lakhs for 2 years PG course and cost of living is cheap

* Weather and environment conditions are similar to the Indian climate in these states.
