President Pranab Mukherjee to Hyderabad

Hyderabad, April 24: Indian President Pranab Mukherjee will participate as the chief guest and deliver first convocation address of the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU).
Governor ESL Narasimhan, who is the Chief Rector of the university will be the guest of honor for the convocation.
This is the first convocation of the EFLU after it became a Central University. The event will be held at Global Peace Auditorium, Brahma Kumaris – Shanti Sarovar, Gachibowli on April 26.
According to the university release, eight gold medals, 69 PhDs, 108 masters, six PGDTE and 72 bachelor's degrees will be awarded at the convocation.
The EFLU has been accredited with Grade "A" by NAAC in May 2016 after a gap of 16 years and earlier the university had been awarded a five-star rating in the year 2000 by NAAC
