Betting rocket arrested

Hyderabad, April 24: Another cricket betting racket being operated in the city was busted by the Commissioners Task Force (Central) team on Sunday. Six persons were caught and Rs 1.41 lakh was seized from them.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police, Task Force, B Limba Reddy, the main kingpin Kuldeep Sharma (34) of Kishanbagh was organizing the racket from Kishanbagh.
He had sought the assistance of Mahesh (30), Neelash Kumawath (28), Gajendar Agarwal (27), G Prashanth (28) and Maneesh Agarwal (43). The organizers were collecting betting amounts from punters for the ongoing Indian Premier League matches.
The police are on the lookout for one Monu is the chief organizer, the police added. All the persons along with the property were handed over to Bahadurpura police station for further action.
