Saline bottles to be returned

Hyderabad April 24: Telangana State Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation (TSMSIDC) has been said that bring back all saline bottles in the Govt hospitals they said in a statement.

TSMSIDC Managing Director Venugopal Rao has been issued the Notifications regarding on this issue.From this cause, they are going to bring back the 8 different kinds of IV fluids.

The decision has come from the deaths Postpartum(After Delivery) women's of Nilophar Hospital in the sultan bazaar.But officials did not reveal the information on this case.

But the source is that they are applied the IV fluids to the Postpartum patients, in the result so many Postpartum women have died.All of sudden they are returning these IV fluids.

It is learnt that higher officials in the health and family welfare department were inquiring after maternal deaths at Niloufer Hospital. They were looking into complications caused by dextrose with sodium chloride injection (5 per-cent) of a company but no action was taken then. It has been recalled by the corporation now. However, the reasons given by doctors and officials for recalling the drugs are not clear.

While doctors said that it is one way to know if the drugs are causing health complications, Health Department officials said that the decision is not tied to maternal deaths but is precautionary.
