Panneerselvam back to CM seat

Chennai April 22: Finally, again O Panneerselvam is going to become CM for Tamil Nadu, Panneerselvam camp has merged with the AIADMK party after satisfying the demands which were proposed by them.and the current CM Palaniswami will step down and take the position of the AIADMK party's general secretary, by replacing Sasikala.

A senior leader of AIADMK party has reportedly divulged the ongoing developments towards the merger. He added that the senior leaders of both factions will soon meet and finalize all deals. "What forced the ruling faction to sacrifice the CM chair and surrender to a revolt by just six MLAs, was the vulnerability the leadership has been pushed into," added the leader.



The first sign of this merger was witnessed on last Monday when Dinakaran, nephew of Sasikala was booked for allegedly trying to bribe Election Commission (EC) officials to obtain the party's symbol, which was frozen by the EC following claims from both factions.

TTV Dinakaran was then forced to step down from his post of AIADMK party's deputy general secretary. He is scheduled to appear before Police on Monday, the same day the alliance is likely to be officially announced.
