Tamil Nadu farmers drank urine to highlight demands

New Delhi April 22: As we knew that Tamil Nadu farmers have been doing the Mass dharna at Jantar Mantar (New Delhi) from the past days. Recently they protested differently.

The protest is set to go from curious to revolting as the protesters vowed to drink their urine on Saturday if the government did not pay heed to their demands.

The protesters also said that if they are still ignored by the Centre, they will be forced to eat human faeces on Sunday.

"We are not getting water to drink in Tamil Nadu, and PM Modi has been ignoring our thirst. So, we will have to quench our thirst with our own urine," said P Ayyakkannu, the leader of the protest.

The central government has announced a Rs 2,000 crore assistance to the state under famine and storm aid. But farmers say that the aid is not enough.
