IPL betting racket arrested by SOT Police

Hyderabad, April 20: As we know that, In earlier hours before the Sunrisers Hyderabad-Delhi Daredevils' encounter, police busted three cricket betting rackets in the city on Wednesday.
They arrested 21 persons and seized 13.3 lakh cash. Also, they recovered 32 cell phones, two laptops, an LED monitor, an iPad and five notebooks.
The officials of the Special Operations Team of the Rachakonda police nabbed a gambler near Sagar Crossroads when he was on the way to a bookie's house.
"We caught gambler VV Krishna Rao near Sagar Crossroads. On interrogation, he spilled the beans about the betting racket," SOT inspector K Narsing Rao told media.
Based on his confession, police arrested punters H Ganapathi and G Sambasiva Rao, while the kingpin Kiran was absconding, he said. They were handed over to the Vanasthalipuram police for further investigation.
