Anushka & Prakash Raj in Mahanati Savitri!!!

Hyderabad April 19: 'Yevade Subrahmanyam's fame Nag Ashwin's upcoming movie 'Mahanati', the biopic of legendary actress Savitri. already the first look is released and got a huge response for it.
Keerthy Suresh and Samantha roped into the movie to play Savitri and Journalist who does research on the life of movie Personality respectively. reportedly MovieMakers have approached Anushka Shetty and Prakash Raj for two key roles. However, It's too early to say if they signed the biopic or not.
'Mahanati' is a Telugu-Tamil Bilingual, the movie will showcase the love life and post marriage phase of Savitri and Gemini Ganesan. While 'Mayabazar', 'Devadasu' and 'Narthanasala' will be the focus in Telugu version, 'Mayabazar' and 'Missiamma' starring with Savitri & Gemini Ganesan will be focused in the Tamil version.
Director Nag Ashwin wishes to make 'Mahanati' as the movie which chronicles the life of Savitri. The journey of the actress during the period between the mid-40s and early 80s will be highlighted.
