Amit Shah says, Connect to Young Voters

New Delhi, April 19: The Bharat Janatha Party president Amit Shah has asked his party's youth wing to connect young voters to it,by saying that,they were key in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a new India.

Addressing in the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha's national executive meeting here on Tuesday, Shah said youths should be flag bearers of India's culture and traditions and take lead in the country's development.

He added that, asking the party's young leaders to reach out to the youngsters and popularize the government's works.He said, "Be it Digital India, Start-Up India or Stand-up India, the youth is Modi's focus"

He also asked youth leaders to focus on 'swachhta' project and work on cleanliness in their areas, a BJP statement said.

Amit Shah was addressed at length about the party's growth from 11- leader Jana Sangh, the BJP's forerunner, to its current strength of over 11 crore workers besides more than 330 MPs and 1385 MLAs.

BJYM chief Poonam Mahajan said that,the outfit will organize a big program to groom the country's cultural talent and hold national- and state-level competitions to motivate sports' talent.
