Hindu means to stand and fight for truth : Rahul

Patna April 18: Making an attack on Ruling party BJP, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi had said being a Hindu means to stand and fight for truth here in Patna on Monday.

While going to matter, Addressing at a function to felicitate the freedom fighters as part of the centenary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi's Champaran Satyagrah in Patna, Rahul said that all Hindu scriptures teach about 'sachhai' (truth).

"All these religious books tell us to respect elders, speak truth, stand for truth, fight to protect truth and stand against injustice," he said while reminding people as to how Mahatma Gandhi successfully fought against the British rule on the strength of truth.
