Nannapaneni Rajakumari fired on TV Serials

Vijayawada April 17: Ap State Women Commission Chief and TDP MLC Nannapaneni Rajakumari fired over the way women are projected in TV Serials these days.

While speaking at the press conference in Kakinada, Nannapaneni said that 'In the recent past, It has become quite common to cast Women in the roles of antagonists. In TV Serials, Women were shown as anti-social elements who plot the murders of their opponents. This kind of projection will have a very bad influence on the viewers. The Commission for Women would move a motion seeking ban on such Serials very soon"

The TDP Leader advised Managements of Television Channels to have a sense of some social responsibility. She even appealed the people to boycott such TV serials which spread negativity and cause harm to the society.
