GHMC special training

Hyderabad, April 16: As we knew that, A horrible road accident had been occurred in front of Trimulgherry RTA office on Thursday, Which a GHMC van rammed a TVS motorcycle, From this perspective, The GHMC officials has to conduct a special training program on road safety.

While coming to matter, The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has decided to use conducting special training and awareness program on road safety for its drivers.

The move comes in the wake of the ghastly accident involving GHMC garbage tipper at Trimulgherry on Thursday night, in which four of a family including two children were killed.

At present, 1019 drivers are working in the municipal corporation. Of these, 135 drivers are deployed for driving vehicles of the officials and other light motor vehicles and the rest engaged with heavy vehicles like garbage trucks.

Under phased manner, all these drivers will now be trained on road safety and health awareness. Emphasis would be laid on avoiding minor mistakes while driving, which could turn lethal.

The GHMC in a press release said that instructions have been issued to the transportation wing not to permit ineligible drivers to drive heavy vehicles.
