Woman was brutally raped

Siddipet, April 11: A 28-year-old married woman was cruelly raped and brutally murdered by a man who is belonged to the same village in Siddipet on Monday. After chopping off her head and legs, the killer threw the body parts in a lake.

While coming to details, Lavanya(28), a resident of Nangunuru village near Siddipet was living with her three children in the village as her husband D. Raju went to Kuwait for work.

According to sources, Lavanya had developed a extra marital relation with Parasuramulu Goud of the same village. On Sunday night she went out but did not come back.

When her family went in search of her, they found blood stains in the backyard and called the police. A dog squad led them to the lake.



Police found Lavanya's body at the lake with a slit throat and hacked legs. Victim's family suspected Parasuramulu and they didn't allow police to take woman's body for post-mortem demanding the arrest of the accused.

However, the RDO Mutyam Reddy assured them of all support to the children in their studies.
Police registered a case and investigation is on.
