High court on women prisoners

Hyderabad April 11: The Telugu States on Monday furnished to a Hyderabad High Court bench, Justice CV Nagarjuna Reddy and Justice T Rajani, a detailed report on the rehabilitative steps for women prisoners and mentally disabled persons.
coming to details that, The bench was dealing with a writ plea filed by the state legal services authority, which sought enforcement of the rights of juvenile offenders, women prisoners, as well as proper management of mentally-challenged prisoners.
The writ plea is based on a Supreme Court(SC) verdict, which had asked high courts to monitor state government rehabilitative programs.
