Huge increment on School feeses

New Delhi April 10: According to the nationwide survey, a huge number of parents witnessed that schools have hiked fees between 11-20 percent in 2017. In extends that, 15 percent of parents surveyed said their schools have hiked the fees by over 20 percent, the survey by community social media platform Local Circles has said.

"The feeses are increasing in many schools has again been quite high this year and parents in different parts of the country have come on the roads to protest about it," the survey has been said.

"They have also been complaining about the hefty increase in the annual fee charges which schools are not able to justify," it added.

However, Parents across the country are very witnessed that as school fee in the last years has been rising at a much faster rate than the average earnings of the parents thereby creating a squeeze, the survey added.



In briefly, The survey tells us, around 9,000 parents/grandparents, a large 54 percent of respondents said schools have increased the fee between 11 to 20%."15 per cent said that the increase was above 20 per cent and 31 per cent said that the increase was between 0 -10 percent," the survey said.

Meanwhile, Over 75 per cent parents from Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, and Goa said that their child’s school has increased the fee by more than 10%.
