Notices issued on Private Junior colleges

Hyderabad, April5: On Tuesday The Board of Intermediate Education has issued notices to 15 private colleges in the city for conducting class in summer holidays.

"Within in the Hyderabad district, we have issued notices to about 10 colleges, of which three each were issued to Sri Chaitanya and Narayana Junior Colleges. The same has been also forwarded to the secretary of BIE also. Once we get orders from him, action will be initiated against the colleges," said C Harindranath, District intermediate education officer (DIEO), Hyderabad.



The rest of other five colleges are in Ranga Reddy district they also received the issued notices. Officials said all the erring colleges to give an explanation about conducting the classes in summer holidays have been asked them to the notice within two days.

"On Tuesday we conducted a sudden raid and We caught some colleges red-handedly and asked them to close the college. If they repeat the same mistake, we will lock the college next time," said the DIEO. The raids will be continued for a few more days till all the colleges in the district are covered, he future added.
