Vishal once again won the election

Chennai April 03: Hero Vishal once again proved his capacity by winning the elections of Tamil Film Producers' Council, he has defeated his rival Radhakrishnan with a majority of 154 votes.

The elections were held on Sunday for the new committee and Vishal team members Prakash Raj, Gautam Vasudev Menon, SR Prabhu also have won the election. This committee has been elected for a period of two years from 2017 to 2019. Vishal contested for the post of President of Producer's Council and he has received 478 votes, Radhakrishnan 355 votes, Kothanda Ramaiah(KR) 224 votes.



Vishal was very happy with the election result. While speaking to the media after the results were announced he said that "Our team thanks, everyone that has made this possible and the next two years will be the golden years of the Tamil film industry". While speaking on the piracy issue plaguing the film industry he said that "A young team has won and we are giving a challenge to pirates like Tamilrockers as we will tackle the menace head on".

It is known that Vishal has already created sensation sometime back by winning the Nadigar Sangam elections. Vishal is holding the post of General Secretary of Nadigar Sangam at present.
