RTC buses to transport essential goods

Hyderabad March 02: State government has planned to supply the essential commodities by TSRTC buses, due to strike by Lorry Owners.

The Civil Supplies Department has been directed to facilitate the supply of essential commodities.

Chief Secretary S P Singh on Saturday directed the top officials of the TSRTC to make arrangements for the transport of vegetables, milk and other necessary goods by special buses.

The Civil Supplies Departments would take up the supply of pulses and edible oil and also tackle the shortage of petroleum products to obviate any difficulty for people.

Agriculture and Marketing Departments are preparing contingency plans to ensure that vegetables are available in Rytu Bazaars.
