Karimnagar Municipal Corporation budget

Karimnagar, March 28: The Telangana Government has sanctioned the Rs 252.57 crores of the budget for Karimnagar Municipal Corporation during the financial year 2017-18 on Monday.

KMC special meeting held under the chair of the Mayor Ravinder Singh at corporation meeting hall here on Monday approved the budget.



The meeting which is expecting Rs 141.83 crore has estimated Rs 242.89 crore expenditure. Whereas Rs 100 crore sanctioned by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was also included in the budget.

Rs 1 crore has been allocated for Annapurna meal schemes under which meal would be provided at Rs 5 and another Rs 2 crore were proposed for water pits. The Corporation has decided to collect property tax from tax avoiders through geo-information system.
