Have you ever sent any WhatsApp message to someone and later regretted sending it. If yes, then here's a good news for you. WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature that will allow its user to revoke or unsend the sent messages.

Along with this, the user will also get an option to edit the messages. Apparently, the sent messages if revoked will be deleted from the recipient's end as well.

previously it was to unsend the message with a time of 29 minutes but if u updated the WhatsApp it will take the time in the span of 2 minutes

According to WABetaInfo, sent messages on WhatsApp beta version iOS 2.17.116 now gets a separate Revoke option which when clicked, recalls the sent message. Reportedly, the revoked message is deleted from both the ends. According to the same source, this feature also works for photos and videos shared in the app.


The company recently added the video call support to its app, both for iOS and Android. The feature rolled out in 180 countries starting with India. WhatsApp recently also confirmed the devices that will not be able to run the app after year end.
