Still pending, issues between TS & AP

Vijayawada March 27: A meeting was about the division issues between AP and Telangana in the presence
Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan and some officials of two states were attended to discuss the present situation in the two states.

The latter pressed for handing over the Assembly premises in Hyderabad since the AP government has already constructed a new building in Amaravati and is conducting the Assembly session there. The committee also sought the Secretariat blocks and other buildings allotted to AP.



Narasimhan to sort out contentious issues following the division of the State, with mutual cooperation. The Telangana committee was headed by ministers T. Harish Rao, G. Jagadish Reddy and Advisor to Government G. Vivek, while the AP committee was represented by ministers Y. Ramkrishnudu, Atchan Naidu and Chief Whip Kalva Srinivas. Officials from the two States also took part in the meeting, the third in the series.
