Young Businessman harassed a software employee

Hyderabad, March 26: A 30-year-old Businessman harassed a software employee at midnight while going home from the office.

That was the first and repeated response businessman when Hyderabad SHE teams grilled him after a woman techie's complaint that he harassed her. But he had eventually admitted his guilt after the police presented him video footage of he stalking the woman in his BMW car.

He would have been behind the bars but the woman preferred a stern warning for him instead of penal action. That saved the businessman from road no. 10 of Banjara Hills. He was let off after 'counseling' not to involve in such actions again.

It all started on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday when the techie got into a cab at Banjara Hills on completion of work at the office when she noticed that a BMW car was following hers.

"He came close to my taxi and started making gestures and comments," SHE Teams ACP D. Kavitha quoted the techie as saying.

She alerted her building watchman and clicked a picture of the BMW car and dialed 100. Based on the picture of the BMW car, the police traced its owner to Banjara Hills.
