MLA Revanth Reddy was not allowed

Hyderabad, march 24: The Legislature and Telangana working president of TDP MLA A. Revanth Reddy was stopped from entering the Assembly premises by Chief Marshals at the entrance on Thursday.

The incident took place when Mr. Reddy wanted to call on Speaker S. Madhusudhana Chary and pursue the TD demand of action against the party and other MLAs.

When Mr.Reddy tried to enter the Assembly premises, he was stopped by marshals who said he couldn't do so since he was suspended from the House for the entire session.



BJP MLA G. Kishan Reddy who was passing by Mr. Reddy and supported him.

Interacting with media reporters, on the Assembly premises here on Thursday, Reddy said that, "The 90-day period set by the court expired on December 21 last year but there has been no word from the Speaker. My repeated attempts to contact him to know his opinion went in vain," he said.

Before filing a petition in the HC, Reddy wanted to meet the speaker but marshals stopped him from entering the outer lobbies of Assembly on the ground that he was a suspended member.
