Telangana Govt showing wrong details

Hyderabad, March 21: The Raman Magsaysay Award winner, famous Journalist Palagummi Sainath has expressed the concern about the wrong details of suicides of farmers, which were produced by the Telangana Govt.

A conference has been arranged in Sundaraiah kalanilayam under the coordination of Telangana State Farmer's Association on Monday.

In the Meeting, The crisis of Agriculture sector and the extreme changes in the sector, suicides of farmers and their solution and several aspects were discussed in the conference with the presence of state delegates.

Sainath, who attended as a chief guest to the conference speaking to media that,"The suicides of farmers are raising day by day in both the Telugu states. The govt has showing the calculations of farmers suicides by dividing agriculture farmers, leased lands of farmers and labour farmers.The govt still did n't identifies the small farmers, who are farming for small lands and compensations also not given to them".

The Meeting was attended by state presidents and secretaries of Farmer's association Bonthala Chandra reddy, Janga Reddy, and Bharat Kisan Sabha presidReddy and T.Sagar and various activists.

They have planned to arrange the 'Raithu Maha sabhalu' from next month April 23 to 25.
