APSET notification released

Vishakapatnam, March 16: The Andhra University has been planning to release the notification of APSET (Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test) will be issued on March 19 and to conduct the test will be on July 30. This was disclosed by university Vice-Chancellor G. Nageswara Rao here on Wednesday.

Prof. Nageswara Rao informed the media that the University Grants Commission accredited Andhra University to conduct State Eligibility Tests (SET) for three years (once in a year) on behalf of the state government.

"Based on the pattern of NET, the APSET will be conducted in 31 subjects. Online application process will begin on March 30.



Eligibility in SET/NET is considered for recruitment of lecturers and assistant professors in universities, degree colleges and institutes of higher learning and to carry out research work," Prof. Nageswara Rao added.

According to him, the last date for submission of online applications without late fee (only registration fee) is May 10. With a late fee of Rs. 1,000 (plus registration fee), the students can apply till May 17.

With a late fee of Rs. 2,000 (plus registration fee) and Rs. 5,000 (plus registration fee), students can apply till May 24 and June 10 respectively.
